On a dangerous seacoast where shipwrecks often occur there was once a crude little lifesaving station. The building was just a hut, and there was only one boat, but the few devoted members kept a constant watch over the sea, and with no thought for themselves, they went out day or night tirelessly searching for the lost. In the Great Commission, Jesus did not simply tell His apostles to baptize… – cf. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matt 28:19-20 (KJV). He said “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” He wanted them to ‘follow-up’ those who were baptized. What are you doing to this end?
